CARBON: LIGHT, STRONG, SMART.

A carbon extension needs to offer the right stiffness to match the luff curve of the rig and not just the idea of a lighter product against aluminum. The Point-7 extensions are based on a very simple indestructible system that is quick and simple to use and allows for effortless downhaul.

The new pulley and cleat system are attached directly onto the aluminum tubing, with no crossing lines. The pulleys being perfectly in line with the sail pulleys, allows the rope to thread through a simple and logic loop. With the oversized rollers and free rope from the cleat, the downhaul efforts are reduced to the absolute minimum.

The extension tubes are made with strong a strong grade carbon and are available in lengths of 28cm/44 cm with adjustment increments for every 2cm. The extensions can be sailed at the full 28cm or 44cm extension heights and are supplied with the original Marlow 3.8mm Formuline rope.

Quick functionality points on the base system:
• Double inverted XXL pulleys to save lots of power from pulling downhaul.
• Easy clean free threading through pulley to use gravity to insert the rope.
• Free cleat to no rope friction when down hauling.
• Rigs on both side as cleat is on the side of the pulley system.

• STAINLESS STEEL CLEAT Base of extension is realized with Stainless Steel 365 Marine grade
• SIMMETRIC FREE CLEAT Free cleat compatible with all sails for rigging on both sides. 2 pulley system.
• X-SPACE Wide holes for allowing sand to exit easily.
• WIDE LENGHT RANGE Start from 2 cm to 44 or 28 cm with 2cm steps.
• QUICK ADJUSTMENT RING We choose an easy, light and fast length adjustment system
• QUICK EXTENSION TUNING We develop our sails with this extension, and you can find the 1:1 print distance print on our sail for a fast rigging.
• FITS ANY ROPE Delivered with Formuline© rope. Easy rope replacing system.
