Bid & Tendering Expert / Senior Commercial Manager (m/f/d) for Steam Turbine & Compressor Services- Full Time - Mannheim, Germany Region or other locations Your main tasks and responsibilities: Set up scheduling processes & capabilities including standard templates, scheduling rules, procedures, process flow & interfaces with key stakeholders, WBS (work breakdown structure) and reporting KPIs across EMEA Ensuring thorough technical scope definition and risk management for complex Steam Turbine & Compressor service projects (e.g. inspections, repairs, parts supply, multi-train solutions, rerates, upgrades and modifications) Prepare end-to-end cost estimation and commercial quotations for Steam Turbine & Compressor projects based on technical specifications Engage and collaborate successfully with clients and external partners (e.g. vendors / subcontractors) as well internal stakeholders Support post-tender activities, ensuring smooth transition from bid to execution, including scope validation and project briefing Contribute to procurement and cost efficiency by working closely with suppliers to secure optimal pricing, lead times and quality for related parts and services Continuously improve cost estimation methods to improve accuracy and efficiency in pricing strategies To succeed in this role, you will need: Engineering Degree (ideally Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in mechanical engineering) Technical background in rotating equipment and / or other relevant background Experience with steam turbines and compressors (advantageous) Thorough analytical skills and commercial mindset Proactive, solution-oriented personality with strong interpersonal skills Fluency in German and/or French (advantageous) What we offer you: The position offers scope for exercising individual initiative Well-renowned team of expert colleagues locally and globally Exciting, wide-varied position with personal growth potential Attractive compensation package and company side benefits Employee Assistance Program / Additional Company Health Care Plan Access to Corporate Benefits Discount Program No visa or work permit support can be provided for this role Do you have a question about the role?
