We are looking for a skilled professional to join the team as our

Financial Controller: Germany & Netherlands What you will be doing:

Strengthening Financial Controls – Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls in Germany and Netherlands to minimize write-offs, enhance cost management, and safeguard revenue.
Ensuring Accuracy & Compliance – Uphold group accounting standards and policies, ensuring all financial records are precise and compliant.
Owning Balance Sheet Reconciliations – Conduct monthly reconciliations, taking proactive steps to resolve issues and maintain financial integrity.
Managing Financial Close – Guarantee the timely closure of the Trial Balance, hitting deadlines with precision (Day 4 close).
Regulatory & Audit Support – Assist in regulatory reporting and collaborate with external auditors to ensure smooth processes.
Driving Efficiency – Work closely with other finance teams to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency across the department.
Delivering Insightful Reporting – Produce accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, ensuring they are both timely and insightful for decision-making.
Providing Actionable Analysis – Generate ad-hoc reports that not only present data but also offer clear recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.

This is what sets you apart:

Education: Completed degree in business administration or economics.
Work experience: Several years of experience in controlling, preferably in an international company.
Knowledge: Solid expertise in financial accounting according to HGB and IFRS.
Software: Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel. Experience with MS Dynamics is desirable.
Language skills: Proficient in German and English (C1 level); Dutch is a plus.
Personal skills: Strong affinity for numbers, structured working style, accuracy, reliability, and team spirit.
